Sally Marie Ashley

Sally Marie Ashley, 77, of Towanda, KS, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 in El Dorado. Memorial service 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. The family requests that those in attendance wear a mask. Sally was born in Wichita, KS on September 17, 1943, to the late Leota "Lee" (Jones) and William D. Harbes. She worked as a expediter at Hawker-Beechcraft. Sally enjoyed KU basketball, her pomeranians, going to casinos, and collecting angels. She was known as Sassy Sally! She also deeply cared about her family and neighbors. On March 7, 1991 she married Tom Ashley at the Towanda Methodist Church. He survives her. She is also survived by: daughters, Michele Scott and husband Rick, Kristi Hughes and husband Jim; son, Scott Tabor and wife Katti; brother, Lanny Harbes and wife Linda; grandchildren, Brandon (Jessica), Garry, Krisanda (Justin), Heather (Garrett), Ashley, Mariah, Kaelin, and Devin; and 12 great grandchildren.
