Richard "Rick" Garrison Blue , 66, of Augusta, KS passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 in Wichita, KS. Visitation 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Headley Funeral Chapel. Service 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Augusta United Methodist Church, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Augusta, KS. Rick was born in Coffeyville, KS on November 15, 1954, to the late Betty (Clark) Blue and John Blue. Rick attended Coffeyville Junior College and later graduated from Pittsburg State University. Rick worked for the State of Kansas prior to becoming a manager for White Eagle Credit Union where he later became the president and served for 36 years. He loved the credit union and the work that he did! Rick also loved sports including football, basketball, and baseball, and he played many of them in high school and college. Most of all, he loved his family! On September 3, 1982 he married Shawn (Kasting) Blue in Topeka, KS and she survives him. He is also survived by: daughters, Coleen Beckley and husband James of Augusta, KS, and Crystal Wescott and husband Timothy of Wichita, KS; sister, Johnna Antle and husband Herb of Coffeyville, KS; grandchildren, Mercedes, Kaydin, Arieanna, and Donovan Garrison Beckley, and Noah and Emilia Wescott; mother in law, Lorretta Kasting of Wichita, KS; nephew and niece, John and Kelly. Memorial donations to Sunlight Children's Advocacy Rights Foundation 205 E 12th Ave. El Dorado, KS 67042.
