Obituary

Phillip Maurice Ridder, 64, of Augusta, KS, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at home. Memorial funeral mass 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Augusta, KS. Phillip was born in Wichita, KS on February 18, 1958, to Rose (Demplewolf) and the late William J. "Bill" Ridder. He owned Custom Equipment Manufacturing in Wichita. Early in life, Phillip enjoyed hunting and golfing. He did have a love of reading and being a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. Phillip is survived by his mother, Rose of Augusta; sister, Ellen Wilson of Augusta, KS; brother, Paul Ridder and wife Linda of Lincoln, KS; sister, Anita Bennett and husband Scott of Wytheville, VA; brother, Bart Ridder and wife Lori of Augusta, KS; brother, Matt Ridder of Augusta, KS; and sister, Lori Cook and husband Bryce of El Dorado, KS; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to the Augusta Public Library 1609 State St Augusta, KS 67010.
