Peggy Ann (Ward) Thompson, 64, of Augusta, KS, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at home. Memorial service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Inurnment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Augusta, KS. Peggy was born in Rantoul, Illinois on May 4, 1956, to the late Ruby Marie (Huffman) Troyer and Ross Kenneth Ward. She had her master's degree in business with a concentration in accounting, and worked for many years as a senior financial analyst at Cessna. She is survived by: daughter, Stacy Thompson; grandchildren, Connor, Faith, and Rheagan Thompson; brother, Douglas Ward and wife Stephanie; sister, Bonnie Avila and husband John.
