Andover, KS – Patrick Quintin Davidson, 60, passed away from lung cancer on May 26, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS. He was born on July 29, 1961, in El Dorado, KS, and grew up in Augusta, KS, where he graduated from high school in 1979. Shortly thereafter, he went to work for Beechcraft and retired after 42 years, 7 months, and 6 days. He enjoyed working hard and problem-solving, and was well respected by his colleagues for these qualities.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Marie Davidson; step-dad, Fred Young; and daughter, Emily. Pat is survived by his wife, Leanna; son, Cahlen; daughters, Hayley (Nathan) Witte, and Ashley (Jay) Jayarathne; grandchildren, Austin, Tyler, Isla, Mia, Mila, Ian, and Kiptyn; brother, Michael (Glenda) Davidson of Palm Beach, FL; sisters, Debbie (Casey) Jones of Wichita, KS, Jonola Beasley of Magnolia, TX, and Claudia Landers of Wichita, KS; and many nieces and nephews.
Pat will be remembered as happy-go-lucky and always wanted to be helpful. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing and traveling, and also enjoyed playing poker. He was also a huge Chiefs and KU basketball fan and loved to see them win the Super Bowl and NCAA championships.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Private burial will take place at Andover Cemetery, Andover, KS.
