Mildred E. Beye

Mildred E. Beye, 93, of Augusta, KS, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, February 4, 2023 while her children were by her side. Visitation 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Service 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 10, 2023, at Augusta United Methodist Church, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Augusta, KS. Mildred was born in El Dorado, KS on June 23, 1929, to the late Ollie (Schales) and Frank Pressnell. She had worked as a Registered Nurse for over 52 years. Many will remember her holding flu clinics. Mildred enjoyed anything in nature including, hiking, camping, and bird watching. She also loved supporting her children in all their sporting activities. She is survived by: son, Charles Beye of Augusta; daughter, Connie Condon and husband Terry of Douglass; and a grandson, Christopher Maier of Wichita. She was preceded in death by her son, Calvin Beye; brother, Vernon Pressnell. Memorial donations may be made to the Augusta United Methodist Church 2420 N. Ohio Augusta, KS 67010.
