Mary E. Canady

Mary E. Canady, 95, of Augusta, KS, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at home. Visitation 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2020 and service 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2020, both at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Sunset Lawns Cemetery, El Dorado, KS. Mary was born in Blue Mound, KS on June 4, 1924, to the late Lena and Leonard Linn. She retired from Seeber's Manufacturing. On February 28, 1941 she married Arthur L. Canady in Iola, KS. He preceded her in death on January 2, 1983. She was also preceded in death by her daughters, LaHonna Moyer, Carolyn Miller, and infant daughter, Mary Etta Canady; sisters, Margaret Kreissler, and Caroline Capps; grandchild, David McClellan. She is survived by: daughter, Connie Blake of Augusta, KS; sons, Phil Canady and wife Trisha of Edgewood, TX, and Jeff Canady and wife Gloria of El Dorado, KS; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren.
