Martha Carol Adams, 67, of Augusta, KS, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023 in Wichita, KS. Martha was born in Fredonia, Kansas on February 23, 1956, to the late Phyllis (Hebb) Woods and Howard R. Rothgeb. She worked as a laundry aide at Lakepoint Nursing Home. She is survived by her friend and companion, Bill Colhour of Augusta; son, Jearl Adams, Jr. of El Dorado; daughter, Jennifer Steward and husband Landon of Moorefield, WV; sister, Connie Shore of Augusta; brother, Brad Dudgeon of Atlanta, KS; grandchildren, Codie, Levi, Gage, Savanna, Dakota, Thomas, and Montana, great grandchildren, Lee and Chelsea; nephews, Paul, Rod and Kenneth Heater, and niece, Kim Heater. There will be no services and memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
