Lowell "Jay" Critchfield

Lowell "Jay" Critchfield, 78, of Andover, KS, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022. Visitation 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2022 at Headley Funeral Chapel. Memorial graveside service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Andover Cemetery, Andover, KS. Jay was born in Wichita, KS on March 20, 1943, to the late Esther (Hillman) and John E. Critchfield. He was a mechanic at The Auto Shop for many years and had worked as a mechanic many other places prior to that. On December 10, 1982 he married Vickey Lynn (Pauley) Critchfield in Oklahoma City, OK who survives him. He is also survived by: daughter, Michelle Ray Critchfield-Anderson of Wichita, KS; step daughter, Katina Price of Sherman, TX; step son, Loyd Drain of OR; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Jane Critchfield; son, John Critchfield; brother, Wayne L. Critchfield. Memorial donations to ASPCA, 520 8th Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10018.
