Leta Arlene O'Bryan, 84, of El Dorado, KS, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Visitation 1 p.m. until service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at First Christian Church - Leon, KS. Burial will follow at Leon Cemetery, Leon, KS. Leta was born in Wichita, Kansas on October 6, 1937, to the late Beulah (Keith) and Joseph Dungan. She graduated from North High School in Wichita. On February 19, 1955 she married the love of her life, Jordan Lyle O'Bryan in Kingman, Kansas. Leta was a devoted wife who loved her family dearly. She had worked as a bus driver for the Bluestem School District and sold Avon at one time. Being a trained classical pianist, one of her greatest joys was playing the piano. Leta started playing as a child and continued until her death. She had a true God given talent, having perfect pitch and the ability to play by ear. Leta also enjoyed reading, doing word puzzles, sewing, crafts and cooking. The O'Bryan family enjoyed many roadtrips throughout their lifetime. Leta was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She is survived by: daughter, Deb Yates of Wichita; son, Dan O'Bryan and wife Debbie of Leon; son, Robert O'Bryan and wife Elizabeth of Burden; daughter, Christy Snodgrass and husband Ernie of Augusta; sister, Sylvia Klopp of Wichita; grandchildren, Chris, Jeff, Shannon, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Katie, Rachel, Megan, Bobby, Cassandra, Jessica, Steph, Cody, Robin and C.J. and 26 great grandchildren + 1 more on the way. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Dolores Leonard and Jo Etta Harrison. Memorial donations to First Christian Church - Leon, 300 N East St. Leon, KS 67074.
