Kennith Edwin Pierce, 89, of Augusta, KS, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at home in Augusta, KS. Visitation Sunday 2 p.m. until service at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. A private graveside will take place at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Winfield, KS at a later date. Kennith was born in El Dorado, Kansas on November 22, 1932, to the late Lois Marie (Davis) and John Kenneth Pierce. He was a proud veteran of the U. S. Army. After 39 years of employment, he retired from Beechcraft in 1988. Kennith enjoyed gardening and spent many hours in his woodworking shop making and sharing his craftsmanship with family and friends. He was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church and the Crusaders Sunday school class in Augusta. On July 7, 1956 he married Pat (Reeder) Pierce at the First Baptist Church in El Dorado, KS and she survives him. He is also survived by: daughter, Marchelle Kerbs (Tim) of Augusta; sister, Patricia Biggart of Augusta; grandchildren, Brett Austin (Darcey), Ryan Austin (Stephanie) both of Ponca City, OK; April Reidy (Mark), Molly Deiser (Raymond) both of Manhattan, KS; 11 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. Kennith was preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Clark and a sister, Shirley Smith.
