John M. Phillips

John M. Phillips, 82, Augusta, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024, in Wichita. Viewing 1 to 2 pm and service 2 pm Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.  Burial will follow at Kechi Cemetery.  John was born in Wichita on April 19, 1941, to the late Henrietta Alice (White) and Austin Bartlet Phillips.  He worked in machine shops all his life and he owned Phillips Jig and Mold.  On July 15, 1962, he married Marilyn L. DeHaven in Wichita, and she survives.  He is also survived by daughter, Carla Greenfeather and husband Dale; daughter-in-law, Janet Phillips; grandchildren Alex Greenfeather (Ashlee), Alan Greenfeather, Kendra Faul (Jeff), Cassandra Abert (Lane), Mallory Heimerman (Austin), Austin Phillips (Christa), Kyle Phillips (Kenzie); 9 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his son Robert "Tom" Phillips; brother David Phillips; sister Betty Webster.  Memorial donations to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice 313 S.
