Elmer Brown, 86, of Augusta, KS, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 in Derby. Elmer was born in Ottawa County, Kansas on January 20, 1935, to the late Emma (Riegel) and Virgil Brown. He worked at International Harvester / Stewart International until retiring in 2000. He moved from Salina and Bennington areas to Augusta 3 years ago. Elmer is survived by his wife, Shirley of 67 years; daughter, Janice Stockdale and husband Bren; grandchildren, Robert Buxton (Sandi) and Heather Sultz (Kenny) and great grandchildren, Ethan Buxton and Bryce Buxton and Spencer, Caleb, and Meredith Sultz. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Brown; brother, Herbert Brown and a sister, Phyllis Smith. There are no services planned at this time. Condolences and cards may be sent in care of the family to Headley Funeral Chapel.
