Dennis Allen Nesler

Dennis Allen Nesler, 69, of Augusta, KS, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022, in Wichita. A service will be held at a later date. Dennis was born in El Dorado, Kansas on December 5, 1952, to the late Edna Mae (Kelley) and Orville Owen Nesler. He worked as a mason most of his life and then worked for Butler County Kansas as a scale house operator. Dennis was an avid bowler. He was also a Green Bay Packer fan and a hockey fan, especially the Colorado Avalanche. On December 31, 2005, he married Cynthia L. (Albright) Nesler in Augusta, and she survives him. He is also survived by: daughter, Terri Lynn (Nesler) Gorges; son, Jerry Lee of Nesler; step sons, Curt Yoder and Kurt Wallrauch; step daughter Sarah Clifford; brother, Bill Nesler and wife Beverly; and Gerald "Butch" Nesler and wife Willene; sisters, Shirley, and husband Russell Shafer; and Kathleen, and husband Rodney Northcut; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dennis was preceded in death by his siblings, Richard, Gene, Jerry Lee, Darlene, Joyce and Ruth Ann.
