Dean Paul Zimmerman

Dean Paul Zimmerman, 74, of Douglass, KS, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022 in Wichita, KS. The family will host a luncheon to celebrate Dean's life at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022, at First Christian Church, in Douglass, KS.  Dean was born in Wichita, KS on August 21, 1947, to the late Eileen Grace (Hughes) and Paul Dean Zimmerman. He worked at Boeing for many years. On August 29, 1975 he married Sandra (Kunkel) Zimmerman in Wichita, KS who survives him. He is also survived by three children: Tamara Cerepanya, Troy Zimmerman (Kelly), and Tara Bird. His grandchildren are Tristan, Tanner, and Tatum Zimmerman, and Isaac and Mikayla Bird. He was preceded in death by his 2 brothers and 1 sister. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to KETCH 1006 E Waterman St, Wichita, KS 67211 or the charity of the donor's choice.
