Broderick "Buddy" Coman

Broderick "Buddy" Coman, 58, of Augusta, KS, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023 in El Dorado, KS. Visitation 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Headley Funeral Chapel. Service 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 6, 2023, at Augusta United Methodist Church, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Augusta, KS. Buddy was born in Seattle, WA on March 7, 1965, to the late Helen (Teitjen) and Merlin Coman. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as an inspector at Beech Aircraft for many years. Buddy enjoyed watching the KC Chiefs, going to the casino, and traveling to Las Vegas. On May 20, 2000 he married Nancy (Wheat) Coman in Augusta, KS who survives him. He is also survived by: daughter, Gretchen Otis (Corey) of Augusta, KS; son, Dustin Wolf of Augusta, KS; daughter, Kendall McDow (Matt) of North Carolina; daughter, Rachel Hatcher (Nick) of Augusta, KS; daughter, Jandalyn Coman (Garrett Guinn) of Wichita, KS; son, Brody Coman (Kayleigh Boyd) of Augusta, KS; sister, Pamela Lewis of Pretty Prairie, KS; sister, Lindy Deatherage (Mark) of Grants Pass, OR; grandchildren, Corey, Carter, Camden, and Thalia Otis, Madelyn Wolf, Travis, Adilyn, and Leo McDow, Bradyn Jones, Londyn, Leneyah, and Ryann Hatcher; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Cora McDow.
