Warren H. Hale

Warren H. Hale, 84, of Augusta, KS, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018. Visitation 12:00 p.m. with service following 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2018, at Church of Christ, Augusta, KS. Graveside service 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2018 at El Reno Cemetery, El Reno, OK. Warren was born in Lookeba, OK on October 29, 1934, to the late Lavonne (Epps) and Hardy Nichol Hale. He served in the U.S. Army. Warren held many jobs in his lifetime including working as a tree trimmer for many years, and a car tire salesman at Wal Mart. He later worked as a preneed funeral salesman for Homesteaders, and United Funeral Benefits where he retired from. Warren enjoyed photography. On March 1, 1981 he married Wilma Jean Morrison in Altus, OK who survives him. He is also survived by: step son, Fred Morrison and wife Linda of Augusta, KS; step daughter, Diana Baxter of Albert, OK; son, Keith "Buster" Hale of OK; sister, Colleen Hilderman of Hinton, OK; cousin, LG Ruckman of Lookeba, OK; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Willard Hale. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Church of Christ, 3500 N Ohio, Augusta, KS 67010.
