Valerie Rose Blake

Valerie Rose Blake, 92, Augusta, passed away Friday, April 12, 2024.  Memorial service at 2 pm Friday, April 19 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Valerie was born in Wimbledon, England on October 8, 1931, to the late Phyllis (Cole) and George  Kesingland.  She had worked as a server at Ballinger's Catering.  She is survived by sons, Paul Blake and wife Patty and Chris Blake and wife Diane; daughters, Janice Blake, Robin Ostrander and husband Neal, Dawn Blake and Jennifer Mullin and husband Jeff; brother, Charlie Kesingland; sisters, Christine and husband John Hayward and Fifi Cooper and husband Dave; 19 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by sister, Joan Marsden and a grandson, Chase Martin.  Memorial donations to Serene Palliative Care and Hospice, 345 Riverview St., Wichita, KS 67203.
