Teddy Joe Kramer, 90, of Augusta, KS and formerly of Grove, OK and Olathe, KS, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026 in Wichita. Ted was born in Olathe, KS on August 29, 1935, to the late Nellie Christine (Springate) and John William Allison Kramer. He graduated from St. John High School in 1954 and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era. Ted worked as a mail carrier and rural mail carrier and retired after many years. He was a member of the American Legion for over 46 years. On September 5, 1958 he married Joan Mary (Newhouse) Kramer in Olathe, KS. She preceded him in death. Later he married Katherine Elizabeth (Harold) on November 8, 1986 in Olathe, KS. She also preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by: his brother, John Kramer, Jr.; sisters, Marlyn Schellenburgr, and Kathren (Katie) Sanger. He is survived by: daughter, Jennifer Leeker of Augusta, KS; sons, Jeffery Kramer (Barbara) of Wellsville, KS, and James Kramer of Olathe, KS; sister, Linda Meyers of Belton, MO; grandchildren, Mark Kramer (Angie), Timothy Kramer (Abby), Mary Castle (Brad), Lydia Hucke (Brent), Hannah Leeker; great grandchildren, Emma and Hunter Kramer, Jocelyn and Wyatt Castle, Renee, Tracy, and Bodie Hucke. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2026 at the Olathe Cemetery, Olathe, KS. Memorial donations may be made to the American Legion Post 153, 410 E Dennis Ave, Olathe, KS 66061.
