Susan "Sue" Elaine Ecton

Susan "Sue" Elaine Ecton, 67, of Douglass, KS, passed away Monday, June 3, 2024 in Andover, KS. Sue was born in Highland, Illinois on November 2, 1956, to the late Delta (Hamilton) and Fred Twente. She was a secretary at a law office for many years. On January 4, 2003 she married Jimmy Ecton in St. Charles, Missouri who survives her. She is also survived by: daughter, Angie Simpson and husband DeWayne of Missouri; son, Chris Ecton and wife Ashley of Colorado; sisters, Joy Herndon and husband Steve of Missouri, and Krista Stepanek of Missouri; brothers, Randy Twente of Missouri, and Scott Twente and wife Melissa of Missouri; grandchildren, Dana Simpson, Cora Ecton, and Addy Ecton; a multitude of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Beiner; brother, Chuck Twente; grandchild, David Simpson. The family will hold a memorial gathering from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at First Baptist Church, Augusta, KS.
