Ruby Jane Flinn

Ruby Jane Flinn, 95, of Olathe and formerly of Augusta, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2026 in Olathe. Service 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2026, at Augusta United Methodist Church, Augusta, KS. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Empire Cemetery, Galva, KS. Ruby was born in El Dorado, Kansas on February 25, 1931, to the late Dora (Ades) and Carl Seymour. She worked as a file department manager at Farmers Alliance Insurance Company. On February 21, 1953, she married Virgil Flinn in El Dorado, KS. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Russell and Bill Seymour, sisters, Faye Wilson, Ruth Brewer and Roberta Kiser, and a son Gary Flinn. Ruby is survived by: son, Rod Flinn and wife Jennifer Karr-Flinn of Bucyrus, KS; grandchildren, Casey Flinn (Megan) and Janie Smith (Dave); great grandchildren, Trey, Taryn and Adrienne Flinn; and a great great grandchild on the way.
