Roland Francis Bushey

Roland Francis Bushey, 88, of Augusta, KS, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Visitation 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2025 and service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2025, both at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Dunlap Cemetery Rose Hill, KS. Roland was born in St. Albans, VT on September 12, 1937, to the late Elizabeth (Bellevue) and Howard Bushey. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Roland retired as a crew chief and supervisor at Beech Aircraft after 41 years. On June 15, 1963 he married Deloras (Albers) Bushey in Augusta, KS. He is also survived by: sons, Edward Bushey, Danny Bushey and wife Angie, David Bushey and wife Kim, and Roy Bushey; daughters, DeAnn Reed and husband Casey, and Monica Rollings; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 1 on the way. He was preceded in death by his twin daughters, Ida Fay and Idelle Bushey; brothers, Harry and Homer Bushey; sisters, Helen Church and Jeanie Walters; grandsons, Cody Stafford and Shane Bushey.
