Roberta "Bert" Yvonne (Call) Winter

Beloved wife, mother, Nanny & Gigi - Roberta "Bert" Yvonne (Call) Winter - passed away peacefully at home June 8, 2022. Bert was born on April 30, 1939, in El Dorado, KS to William Oliver and Eulah D. (Loveland) Call. She married her best friend Donald "Don" Winter in Augusta, KS on April 24, 1960. Bert was a homemaker who enjoyed bowling, golfing and spending time with her family. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church for many years.

Bert was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Kenneth Sloan; sisters, Marie Manfort, Naomi "Cricket" Williams, Twila Crane, Peggy Roberts, Pat Chrislip; and brother, Arthur Call.

Bert is survived by her husband, Don of the home; daughter, Kim (Travis) Rice of Smithville, MO; son Karl (Theresa) Winter of Augusta, KS; siblings, Tracy (Beatrice) Call of Mulvane, KS, and Colleen (Darwin) Harris of El Dorado, KS; grandchildren, Whitney (Stephen) Havelka of Kansas City, MO, Rachael (Patrick) Adams of Kansas City, KS, Karli (Conner) Zaldivar of Wichita, KS, Ryan (Macie) Murie of Kansas City, MO, Chase Winter of Wichita KS, Jessica (Nolan Smith) Rice of Smithville, MO, and Breck Winter of Fall River, KS; great-grandchildren, Mila, Benjamin & Sophia Havelka, Ollysen Adams, Davis Murie and Nora Zaldivar; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation services will be held on Sunday, June 12th, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta, KS.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 13th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at First Southern Baptist Church in Augusta, KS.  Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, also in Augusta, KS.
