Michael Don Strack, 68, of Augusta, KS, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026 in Wichita. Closed casket visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2026 and service 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 2, 2026, both at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS. Michael was born in Garden City, KS on October 26, 1957, to the late Theresa (O'Connor) McCracken and Donald Strack. He retired from Beechcraft after having worked there for 25 years as a jig builder. Michael loved woodworking and creatively used every scrap of wood that he could get his hands on. On April 19, 1986 he married Cindi (Habluetzel) Strack at Ebenezer United Methodist Chuch, rural Clay Center. She survives him. He is also survived by: his three sons, Zachary, Joshua, and Caleb Strack; granddaughter, Natalie Strack; sister, Glenda Pursor; half sister, Paige Sauer. Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
