Mary Norma Watson

Mary Norma Watson, 87, of Augusta, KS, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025. Mary was born in Wichita, KS on February 18, 1938, to the late Thursay (Snyder) and Mason D. French. She was a homemaker for most of her life and also owned a pool hall along with her husband for many years On November 3, 1955 she married James C. Watson. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Leedy, and all of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by: daughter, Angela Engels and husband Thomas; sons, James Mason Watson and wife Emma and Zeake Hillis; son in law, George Leedy; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Memorial donations to Kansas Humane Society 3313 N Hillside Wichita, Kansas 67219. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
