Marianne Katharine Flint

Marianne Katharine Flint, 91, of El Dorado, KS, passed away Friday, August 21, 2026 at home surrounded by her family. Memorial graveside service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Hillside Cemetery, Toledo, KS. Marianne was born in Darmstadt, Germany on December 21, 1934, to the late Elise (Buttner) and Spengler August Friedrick Heck. She worked as a baker at Walmart for many years. Marianne enjoyed gardening and kept a lovely garden full of wind spinners. She also enjoyed crochet and her dogs. Most of all, Marianne loved spending time with her beloved family. On July 17, 1958 she married Melvin Flint in Darmstadt, Germany. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Donald Heck and Stefen Flint; and daughter, Sharon Heffernan. She is survived by: daughters, Shirley Edmunds, and Sandra Stidham; grandchildren, Jason, Crystal, and Destiny, Christy Fahrer (Scott), Jessica Anderson (Tom), Michael Edmunds (Jenna), Myka Ross (Tim), MacKenzie Willson (Dillon), Christopher Stidham, Corey Stidham (Kathy); 16 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; sister in law, Donna Bailey (Merwin).
