Lisa Renea Thompson

Lisa Renea Thompson 65, of Euless, Texas, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at her Kansas home, surrounded by her family.

There will be a grave side service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Augusta Township Cemetery (Kuster) 5603 SW85th Street, Augusta, KS.

Lisa was born on December 27, 1960, in Akron, Ohio, to the Marie Moewe (Reidy) and Clint F. Moewe. She dedicated her professional life to American Airlines Reservation.

She is survived by husband, David Powell of Augusta, KS; son Dakota Thompson and wife Stephanie of Arlington, TX; daughter, Kasey Nichols and husband David of Hurst, TX; mother, Marie Moewe of St Augustine, FL; brothers, Clint Moewe, Michael Moewe, Tom Moewe; sisters, Vennie Jones, Susan Wills, Patricia Gilger, Judy Wade, Mary Cadenhead; her four cherished grandchildren.

Lisa was preceded in death by her husband, Joe R. Thompson, the loving father of her children as well as her father, Clint F. Moewe.

Lisa loved the Lord God and her family and friends. She made a point of maintaining face to face relationships every time she could make it happen. She loved traveling and the outdoors.
