Kathleen Louise Bono

Kathleen Louise Bono, 83, of Andover, KS, passed away Friday, July 17, 2026 in Wichita, KS. The family will hold a celebration of life from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 2, 2026, at The Lodge at Andover Central Park, Andover, KS. Bural will follow at Douglass Cemetery, Douglass, KS. Kathleen was born in Arcadia, KS on December 17, 1942, to the late Wanda Lee (Williams) and Lorraine E. Sheets. She was a bookkeeper at Murdock Industries for many years. Kathleen was an avid reader and enjoyed being outdoors. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was a devoted grandma. She is survived by: daughters, Misty Chenoweth and husband Eric, and Becky Bono-Gerstner and wife Cristal Gerstner; grandchildren, Riley, Taylor, and Cayden Chenoweth, and Kolten Bono; sisters, Joyce Smith, Linda Breckenridge and husband Ivan, Peggy Jo Barnhart, Pat Payton and husband Roger; brother, Connie Sheets and wife Cindy; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Vickie Watkins. Memorial donations to Andover Senior Center, 410 Lioba Dr. Suite 101 Andover, KS 67002.
