Jan Inez Scholfield

Jan Inez Scholfield, 83, of Augusta, KS, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025 in Wichita, KS. Visitation 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Headley Funeral Chapel. Service 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Augusta United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta, KS. Jan was born in El Dorado, KS on June 23, 1942, to the late Inger (Seglem) and William Shriver. She was a homemaker for most of her life and cared for her family with lots of love. On June 23, 1994 she married Keith W. Scholfield at a family ranch in Beaumont, KS and he survives her. She is also survived by: daughters, Andrea Bindrum of Augusta, KS, and Sally Bannon of Douglass, KS; step daughter, Julie Stubblefield and husband Jeremy of Green Forest, AR; grandchildren, Tyler Bindrum (Sammy), Alex Murdick (Ian), Jordan Lovendahl (Jake), and Colby Bannon; step grandchildren, Zachary (Morgian) and Stratton Cannady, and Matthew Scholfield (Stephanie); great grandchildren, Clyde, Leif, and Maggie Lovendahl, and Roslynn and Ruby Murdick; brother, Bill Shriver and wife Evelyn of Augusta, KS; twin sister, Jill Stauffer of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her step son, Mark Scholfield. Memorial donations to Augusta Historical Society 303 State Augusta, KS 67010.
