Gregory "Greg" Van Mason

Gregory (Greg) Van Mason, 66, of Augusta, KS, passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, in Wichita. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 11, at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, Wichita, KS. Greg was born in Parsons, KS, on December 11, 1959, to Nellie Ann (Young) and Max Mason. He graduated from Southeast High School, later attended KU, and graduated with his Bachelor's degree from WSU. While at WSU, he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Greg enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, and music. He was a member of Kiwanis and Freemasons. He was also a member of the Moose Club of Aurora, MO. Greg retired as an insurance agent at Farmers Insurance. After retirement, he worked for the Substance Abuse Center of Kansas (SACK). He is survived by: daughter, Hannah Mason (Art) of Andover, KS; brother, Steve Mason and wife, Becky of Hot Springs Village, AR; sister, Pam Mason of Hickory Creek, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nellie Ann and Max Mason, and brother, Mark Mason.
