Gene Martin

Gene Martin, 67, of Wichita, KS, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 in Wichita. Memorial service 11:00 a.m.  Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Gene was born in Hays, KS on September 22, 1953, to the late Mary Louise (Arnold) and Harold Dwight Martin. He graduated from Augusta High School and later worked as an inspector for Learjet. Gene enjoyed motorcycles, reading, and rock music, being a member of several local bands. He is survived by son, Jordan Martin; daughters, Leah Martin; and Cody Swaim and husband Chance all of Wichita; brothers, Mike Martin and wife Jyneen of Augusta; and Harold Dean Martin of Oklahoma; and grandchildren, Madison, Jackson, Mason, Lydia, Colbie, John Jr., Trinity, Tanner and Kennedy.
