Elwynna Ann Adcock

Elwynna Ann Adcock, 91, of Andover, Kansas, formerly of Augusta, Kansas, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Hope Community Church in Andover, Kansas. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Winfield, Kansas.

Elwynna was born on March 27, 1935, in Cordell, Oklahoma, to the late Anna (Berg) and Audrey D. Smith. She was a homemaker for most of her life, caring for her family with unwavering love and devotion. She was creative and enjoyed painting, sewing, cooking, and studying the Bible. Elwynna especially loved gathering with family and friends to play dominoes, where her laughter, competitive spirit, and joy for being together created cherished memories. She was a longtime member and one of the founders of Hope Community Church in Andover.

On May 4, 1952, she married Hugh "Bud" Adcock in Amarillo, Texas. He survives her.

She is also survived by her sons, Craig Adcock and his fiancée, Patricia Partridge Wolf, of Andover, Kansas, and Scott Adcock and his wife, Vicki, of Meridian, Mississippi; her daughter, Tammy Moss and her husband, Randy, of Andover, Kansas; her brother, Timothy Smith and his wife, Irene, of Weatherford, Texas; and her sisters, Nancy Brashears of Allen, Texas, and Helen Sue Adams-Smyth-Van Rheeden of Mountain Home, Arkansas.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Caleb Adcock (Sara) of Andover, KS; Joshua Moss (Danae) of Valley Center, KS; Alyssa Canfield (Kris), Andrew Moss (Alicia), and Natalie Santander (Samantha), all of Andover, KS; Amanda Way, Anna Pittman (Daniel), and Erin Swink (Addison), all of Meridian, MS.

Her cherished great-grandchildren include: Caleb Adcock; Austyn, Gabriel, and Brycen Moss; Elijah, Ethan, and Easton Hunt; Braylon and Naveah Buoy; Ashtian, Kirstyn, McKenzie, Elijah, and Eleanor Canfield; Lucy and Cooper Moss; Aleeya Santander; Adilyn, Aidyn, and Alden Way; Patrick and Jude Pittman; and Millie and Worth Swink.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Calicoat.
