David James Papen

David James Papen, 64, of Augusta, KS, passed away Monday, May 19, 2025 in Wichita, KS. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Kechi Cemetery. David was born in Wichita, KS on December 17, 1960, to James and Lorraine (Mueller) Papen. He did lawn care and had worked in Arizona for several years. He is survived by his mother and father; sisters, Cheryl Schlickeiser of Hutchinson, KS, and Suzanne Cline (Darrin) of Goddard, KS; several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Papen. Memorial donations to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market Wichita, Kansas 67202.
