David Allen Higgs

David Allen Higgs, 73, of Augusta, KS, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025 in Andover. David was born in El Dorado, Kansas on September 9, 1951, to the late Delores Marie (Seibert)  and Marvin Leo Higgs. He graduated Augusta High School in 1969 and received his bachelor's degree from Wichita State University. David retired as director of inventory form Cabela's. On March 4, 1972, he married Diane Elaine (Smith) Higgs in Augusta, Kansas and she survives him. He is also survived by:  sons, Christopher Higgs and wife Caitlin of California and Matthew Higgs of North Carolina; brother, Daniel Higgs and wife Debby of Powder Springs, GA; and a grandson, Jasper Newcomer-Higgs. No services are planned.
