Daniel Russell Belt

Daniel Russell Belt, 67, of Augusta, KS, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at home. The family will hold a service at a later date. Daniel was born in Wichita, KS on January 16, 1955, to the late Margaret Elaine (Shewey) and Dillard Lendon Belt. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a self employed builder. Daniel loved country music, especially playing and writing it. He is survived by: son, Andrew Belt; daughters, Lella Fulton, and Laceyrose Johnson; sister, Kathy Craft; grandchildren, Morgan, Bryar, Hannah, Serena, Reanna, Max, Sophia, Grayson, Emma'dell, and Waylon. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ollie Belt; sister, Linda Pope. Memorial donations to Wounded Warriors Project P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, KS 66675.
