Connie Jo Lipscomb, 78, of Augusta, KS, formerly of Moline, KS passed away Monday, August 14, 2023 in Wichita. Visitation 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 21, 2023 and service 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2023 both at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta, KS. Connie was born in Wichita, KS on January 7, 1945, to the late Betty Sue (Smith) and Charles Raymond Lipscomb. She had been a special education teacher in Wichita, KS and Leon, KS. She enjoyed crafting and photography. Connie especially loved people and taking care of her family. She is survived by: sons, Michael Hasting of Moline, KS, David Hasting and wife Kristina of El Dorado, KS; daughter, Julie Johnson and husband Mike of Towanda, KS; brother, Jerry Boman of Leon, KS; grandchildren, Blake, Brandon, Brooke, Brady, Breanna, and Boston Hasting, Tina, and David (Cheyene) Tate, Kayla (Chris) Craft-Tate, Emily, Brittany, and Katie Johnson; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Anderson, Xander Craft, Evelyn Tate, Karsynn, Hayden, and Lillyanna Hasting.
