Cheryl D. Smith, 63, of Augusta, KS, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019 in Kansas City. Visitation 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Graveside service 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2019 at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta. Cheryl was born on September 8, 1955, to Barbara (Smith) Hale of Felicity, OH and the late David Hale. She was a child caretaker and former assembler at Sigma Tech. On February 7, 1984 she married Paul Smith in Texas who survives her. She is also survived by: sons, Joshua James Smith (Candace Ross), and Toby Carlden Smith both of Wichita, KS; sisters, Kimberly Simms (Andy) of Felicity, OH, Melissa Duarte (Frank) of Xenia, OH, and Linda Pickering of Rose City, TX; grandchildren, Preston, Onna, and Evan.
