Carolyn Kay Schild

Carolyn Kay Schild, 74, of Augusta, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. Rosary 7 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2018, at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery Augusta, KS. Carolyn was born in Wichita, KS on February 27, 1944, to the late Elresa "Jean" (Way) and Frank M. Parrent. She was a food service employee for Wichita Public Schools for 15 years. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. On August 31, 1963 she married Ivan Schild at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta who survives her. She is also survived by: daughter, Paula Jean Schild (Jeff Rodriguez) of Wichita, KS; son, Eugene Robert Schild (Judy) of Augusta, KS; daughter, Michelle Rana Rice (Sam) of Andover, KS; son, James Allen Schild (Deidra) of Wichita, KS; brothers, Frank Parrent of Springfield, MO, Ron Parrent of Cheney, KS, Joe Snavely of CO; sister, June Parrent of Warren, PA; 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Michael; brother, Chuck Snavely. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to American Cancer Society, P. O.
