Alaina Lynn Preece

Alaina Lynn Preece, 12, of Augusta, KS, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023 at home. Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 27, 2023 at First Baptist Church, Augusta. A private burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Salina, KS. Alaina was born in Wichita, KS on April 22, 2011, to Lynna Marie (Hoeffner) and Jason Preece. She was a 7th grade student at Augusta Middle School. She is survived by: parents, Lynna and Darin Gowen, and Jason Preece; sister, Hayley Preece; grandparents, Claudia Esch, Bill and Evie Hoeffner; Joyce and Jon Kissel, Richard and Clara Preece; uncles and aunts, Michael and Carmen Esch, Chantel and Greg Warren, Tami Roby, Eric Preece, and Terri McCarthy; numerous cousins.
