Mary Alene Moody

Mary Alene Moody, 93, of Augusta, KS, passed away Friday, February 22, 2019 at home. Memorial graveside service 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta, KS. Those attending should use the Ohio Street entrance. Mary was born in Bloomington, Kansas on June 25, 1925, to the late Ellen Erma (Tribble) and James Bybee Chenault. She was a homemaker and she had also worked at the Village Marketplace in Augusta. On March 18, 1944 she married William "Bill"  Moody in El Dorado, KS. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother, James "Bud" Chenault; and sisters, Opal Tway and Maxine Riggs. Mary is survived by: daughters, Karen Price and husband Roger of Silsbee, Tex.; and Cheryl Graham and husband Rick of Augusta; son, Larry Moody and wife Nancy of Augusta; grandchildren, Julia Vickery (Joe); Kevin Price (Tammy); Kenneth Price; Shanna Bradley (Billy); Cheyla Chandler (Harris); Jacey Kennedy and Stevi Burns (Chris); great grandchildren, Mykalynn (Terry), Elijah, Marissa, Amanda, Emilee, Megan, Isabella, Graison, Maggie Jaret, Quiera, Kaden, Kyah, Kennedy, Kirsyn, Pamela, Kara, Kourtney, Matthew and Kristen; great great grandchildren, Lily & Roger and a grand dog, Newt.
