Joann Elkins, 85, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in Whitewater, KS. Graveside service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Charleston Cemetery, Fall River, KS. Joann was born in Mountainburg, AR on July 29, 1932, to Dorothy (Ross) and Tom Rush. She worked in the upholstery department for Cessna for over 40 years. On January 13, 1951 she married William Ernie Elkins in Crawford County, AR. He preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by a grandson, Adam Dunn. She is survived by: daughters, Connie Dickey, and Cathy Bowler and husband Larry; 3 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren
