Hideko "Kay" Parnell

Hideko "Kay" Parnell, 88, of Leon, KS, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019 in Augusta. Service 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2019 at Leon United Methodist Church, Leon, KS. Inurnment at a later date at Fairview Cemetery, Clarksville, TX. Kay was born in Osaka, Japan on May 26, 1930, to the late Tomie (Ewatu) and Hideji Tsujii. She was a homemaker most of her life. On August 9, 1956 she married Charles Dickson Parnell in Tokyo, Japan. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Tomoe Nakamura. She is survived by: son, Scott Parnell; daughter, Sayo McKay; brother, Kazuo Tsujii of Japan; niece, Yurkio; and nephew, Roo.
