Ileen Francis Ledgerwood, 92, was born June 18, 1919 to Hayes and Gladys Ledgerwood at Cambridge, Kansas.  She died October 4, 2011 at LakePoint Nursing Center in Augusta, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Billy L. Ledgerwood, Sr. and James Ledgerwood, and niece, Nancy Sperry.  She is survived by nephews, Bill (Janelle) Ledgerwood Jr., of Augusta, Terry Ledgerwood of Sedgwick, Steve (Sharon) Ledgerwood of Eureka, by nieces, Julie (Scott) McCallister of Durango, Colorado, Marilyn (Dick) Zimmerman of Valley Center, by sister-in-law Bobbie Ledgerwood of Durango, Colorado, and many great nieces and nephews.  Ileen graduated from Burden High School and business school.  She loved to play piano, travel, and see all her friends.  She retired from Travelers Insurance Company in 1980 and lived in Winfield until moving to Augusta.  A memorial service will be held 1 pm Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the First Christian Church, 1600 State Street in Augusta, Kansas.
