Virginia Ellen Blake, 83, of Augusta, KS, passed away on October 10, 2011. She was born February 5, 1928 near Mayetta, Kansas, the second child of Lowell and Mildred (Tweedy) Johnson.  She attended two years at Holton High School, Holton, Kansas.  Virginia married Floyd Eldon Stowell on June 6, 1944.  He passed away December 17, 1961. On July 7, 1967 she married Harold W Blake, residing in Wyoming, Missouri and Kansas until his death on January 12, 2004.  Her parents and three brothers also preceded her in death. Virginia is survived by her children, LaVeta Mages, Lorraine Luttjohann, Steven Stowell, Stanley and Janet Stowell, and Michael and Terri Blake, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren as well as a sister, Geraldine Barrow and a brother, Duane Johnson. No service is scheduled with burial in Holton, Kansas. Memorial contributions are suggested to Amedisys Hospice.
