June Colleen Martin, 93, of Augusta, passed away Wednesday, December 28th, 2011. Visitation 2-4 Sunday at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Service 10:30 am  Monday, January 2nd, 2012 at First Baptist Church, Augusta.  Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. She was born June 28, 1918, the daughter of the late Rolla Fletcher and Wilma Mina (Crusha) Murdick. June worked as a bookkeeper for Martin Brothers Motors and retired from Mid-Continent Savings in 1971. She was an active member at First Baptist Church and past president and member of BPW and Soroptomist Club. On Sept 20, 1939 she married Aubrey Martin in Augusta and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a stillborn daughter Dena Beth and a brother, Corliss Jacobs. She is survived by: daughter, Judy Haynes and husband Ron of Andover; grandchildren and spouses, Brandon and Lisa Haynes, Erin and Kelly Middleton, Lindsay and Chuck Martin, Cort and Kelly Haynes; great grandchildren, Lezlee (Paul) Fowler; Logan (Colton) Heinrich; Fallon, Tristan, Greyson and Torren Haynes; Drake, Drew and D.J. Middleton; Lander, Caden and Carlie Martin; and Kyron and Cole Haynes. Memorials to the First Baptist Church.
