Bill Keethler

Bill has lived in Augusta all his life except for the two years he was in the Service (Army) during the Korean War. He lived in Wichita three years during his working career.

He graduated from Augusta High School and Butler County Community College.

He has two sons, Kent and Chad. Kent lives in Sedalia, MO with his wife Linda and his children, Seth and Erin. Kent is a dentist and Linda works in Nuclear Medicine at the Sedalia Hospital. Chad and his wife Michele live in Derby with their children Leighton and Micah. Chad is a teacher at Sunflower Elementery in Andover. Michele works as a registered dietician.

Bill’s working career spans fifty years, which has been in purchasing, customer relations and sales. Most of these years have been in the purchasing field ranging from buyer, manager and corporate purchasing manager for Vickers Petroleum Corporation. Bill reports it was a good and rewarding career.

Bill is a member of the First Baptist Church of Augusta.
